So, I was faced with the decision of either giving up girl&bird, or giving up my job. This would have been easier if I was leaving a job I hated, but (un)fortunately, I had a fantastic job in product development which was creative, challenging, and full of people that I count as close friends. But, as you can tell, I made the decision to leap off into self-employment (and I haven't hit the floor with a splat, yet!)
So since that first, exciting day, what have I done? Well...A lot of data-entry. My plan has always been to leave full-time work, but to have a job that will provide both a regular income, and a link to the outside world. g&b isn't ready to carry the weight of my sole source of income yet, and I'm not ready for that either. During March, that job has been ad-hoc, casual work, but in April I will be starting a part-time administrative job which I am actually very excited about.
In the next few days, we'll be posting a poll on what products you would like to see part of girl&bird's collection, to do keep a look out on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter!
